HOW TO ENTER: Beginning on January 15th , 2026 at 12:00am EST through January 14th, 2028 at 11:59 pm EST (the “Prize Period”), either: (a) log on to www.clarkstonwindow.com/sweepstakes and follow the instructions, (b) participate in a home improvement appointment, (c) drop off an entry form to a drop box where the entry form was received or send by mail to Clarkston Window and door, 151 Cesar E. Chavez Ave., Pontiac, MI 48342, or (d) print name and complete address on a 3” x 5” card, write the words “’CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR $50,000. Home Makeover Sweepstakes Entry Request” at the top, and mail the card to Clarkston Window and Door, 151 Cesar E. Chavez Ave, Pontiac, Michigan 48342 with the mailing postmarked by January 14, 2028 (“Qualifying Entry”) for the CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR $50,000 Home Makeover Sweepstakes (the “Giveaway”). No more than one Qualifying Entry per household is permitted. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. The address listed on the Qualified Entry must be the address where the grand prize is to be installed. By entering this Giveaway, the entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters.
ELIGIBILITY: This Giveaway is open to natural persons who are: (a) legal residents of the United States, (b) 18 years of age and older, (c) owners of their own home, which is in a suitable condition (as determined by CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR or its designees) for installation of the prize (including, for example, no water, mold, structural damage, compliant with local building codes and regulations, etc.), and (d) residents in a geographic area in which CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR is permitted to install the prize at the grand prize winner’s location, which can be discerned from checking at CLARKSTONWINDOW.COM. (e) The Grand prize winner's home must be located within 45 miles of the Clarkston Window and Door Co. Inc. office located at 151 Cesar E Chavez Ave,, Pontiac, MI 48342. Employees, officers, and directors of Clarkston window and Door Co. Inc. (“Sponsor“), and members of its immediate family (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live) and members of the households (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible to participate or win any prize. By entering this Giveaway, participants accept and agree to be bound by these official rules and represent that they satisfy the eligibility requirements. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded, and Sponsor reserves the sole right to determine eligibility. Void where prohibited.
DRAWING: Sponsor will conduct a random drawing on or about January 30, 2028, to select the winner from among all Qualifying Entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of Qualifying Entries received. The potential winner will be contacted by phone and additionally sent written prize notification correspondence. The potential winner must comply with all instructions in the prize notification correspondence, including the completion of an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and return them to Sponsor within fourteen (14) days of the date on the prize notification correspondence as well as have met all of the eligibility requirements set forth within these Official Rules. If the potential winner fails to respond within the applicable time period or if the potential winner is otherwise deemed ineligible by Sponsor, the prize will be forfeited, and Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner by random drawing, following the same procedure as with the initial drawing.
GRAND PRIZE: The grand prize winner will receive their selection of CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC. custom-made windows, and or exterior doors, professionally installed with a total maximum retail value of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000), as determined by CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC. based on its then-current price list. The maximum retail value includes cost of installation. The grand prize must be installed at the address listed on the winning entry form. The grand prize winner must arrange for prize installation no later than one month following the award of the grand prize. Installation must be provided by CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC. personnel or designee. All expenses not specifically provided for are the sole responsibility of the grand prize winner. Any waterproofing, remediation, or other repairs necessary for proper installation (as deemed by CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC. or its designees in their sole discretion) must be performed at the grand prize winner’s expense prior to installation. Installation labor does not include painting or staining. Acceptance of the prize may require entering a standard contract or purchase order for the goods and services to be provided, as required by state law. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Official Rules, if the grand prize winner has already purchased goods or services from CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC.., the grand prize winner may choose: (i) the grand prize, or (ii) double the money back from their original purchase, up to $25,000. If the grand prize winner is selected via CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC..’ Refer A Friend Online Program, the grand prize winner will split the grand prize with the person who submitted their name to CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC. with each prize winner receiving up to $25,000 professionally installed goods or double the money back from their original purchase, up to $12,500 in cash. No substitution or transfer of the prize is permitted by the winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Upon installation of the grand prize, CLARKSTON WINDOW AND DOOR CO., INC. will be deemed to have awarded the grand prize to the grand prize winner with the grand prize winner assuming full ownership and responsibility for the grand prize. By entering this Giveaway, entrants waive all right to, and hold the Sponsor harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Sponsor will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant’s failure to receive prize notices due to entrant’s spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this Giveaway; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Giveaway; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the Giveaway, or announcement of the prizes. If, in the Sponsor’s opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Giveaway, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify this Giveaway in any manner without notice. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all Qualified Entries received as of date of termination. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the winning home is titled.
TAXES: THE PRIZE TO THE POTENTIAL GRAND PRIZE WINNER IS SUBJECT TO THE EXPRESS REQUIREMENT THAT THEY SUBMIT TO SPONSOR ALL DOCUMENTATION REQUESTED BY SPONSOR TO PERMIT IT TO COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE STATE, FEDERAL AND LOCAL TAX REPORTING. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL TAXES IMPOSED ON PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. In order to receive a prize, potential winners must submit tax documentation requested by Sponsor or otherwise required by applicable law, to Sponsor or a representative of Sponsor or the relevant tax authority, all as determined by applicable law. The prize winner is responsible for ensuring that they comply with all applicable tax laws and filing requirements. If a potential winner fails to provide such documentation or comply with such laws, the prize may be forfeited and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate potential winner.
JURISDICTION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Michigan, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Giveaway and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Oakland County, Michigan. By entering this Giveaway, you further agree: (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Giveaway, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain any award for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.
